    I turned my experience as a chess coach into a platform that brings my academy’s teaching, study, and training into one digital experience.

    Powered by Next.js, React, and TypeScript, it combines courses and classes with game databases, a move trainer, puzzles, and analysis boards, with role-based access for students, instructors, and administrators.

    Having student information in one place helps me spot individual learning needs and common challenges, tailor my coaching, and improve the program and learning materials.

    I own the full product lifecycle, from defining requirements and designing the experience to building a platform around the way my academy works.

  2. 02String quartet website

    I designed and built Cuarteto Fratres’ website to showcase their music and support bookings for concerts, weddings, and private events.

    Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Payload CMS on PostgreSQL, it brings together upcoming performances, musician profiles, repertoire, and contact. The group manages content and booking inquiries independently.

    I chose a single-page layout to make it easy to discover the quartet and get in touch, with a visual identity built around black-and-white photography and lime accents.

    I handled the project end to end, from product planning and design to development, CMS modeling, and deployment.

  3. 03Network of medical sites

    I built the web presence for Reto MD, a mobile app that prepares Mexican physicians for the ENARM residency exam. Its websites showcase the product, sell memberships, and acquire users.

    The corporate site features products, courses, events, podcasts, job listings, and a blog. I built it with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, using TanStack Query for data fetching and NextAuth with Firebase for authentication.

    I consolidated the specialty websites into one multi-tenant application with App Router and next-intl. Each specialty’s branding, content, and features are configuration-driven, removing the need to duplicate projects.

    I wrote the entire web codebase, owning frontend implementation, service integrations, and a shared architecture that simplifies maintenance and future launches.

    Vallarta TOURS is the fictional brand I use to showcase a website I originally built for a boat tour operator in Puerto Vallarta. The original site was live; after it was taken offline, I adapted the branding and selected content to preserve the work as a portfolio piece.

    Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and next-intl, it presents five tours, experience details, a booking flow, and contact information in Spanish and English. The showcase version serves static content.

    I localized page URLs alongside the content to keep navigation consistent in both languages. Switching languages takes visitors to the equivalent page, so they can continue browsing without losing their place.

    I handled product planning, design in Figma, development, testing with Vitest, and deployment on Vercel.

As you tell me about your business, I’m already imagining what we could build.

My interest in technology started as a kid, and video games gave me my first exposure to code. In 2019, I discovered online courses and began teaching myself to program. That curiosity became my career.

My favorite part of a project starts with the client conversation: understanding their business, exploring what they need, and imagining how that could take shape on screen. I like giving this stage time because it often reveals problems we hadn’t yet considered and opportunities to do more. Seeing the finished product exceed a client’s expectations is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I’m looking for a team that shares that curiosity: people with different backgrounds who enjoy learning, sharing what they know, and supporting one another. A team where everyone has something to contribute and feels comfortable taking the lead when needed.
